David Sun is a Boston based photographer and a former dancer, who now teaches ballet, and directs and choreographs for his own group of dancers, SundanceX. This background contributed to developing an eye for shooting in the world of dance, as well as theater, travel, and people.

Diverse interests has brought many experiences in photographing a broad range of subjects, leading to shooting in the advertising, commercial, dance, and fashion worlds. Assignments have involved international travel: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, China, Hawai'i, Houston, Hong Kong, Kaua'i, New England, New York City, and Toronto amongst many locales.
His work has appeared in the Boston Globe, Dance Magazine, Dance Spirit, GQ, The New York Times, Vogue.
